Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the mobile application Piano Game: Learn Piano Notes (the “App”), developed and published by KODA STUDIO (“we”, “us”, “our”), handles information when you use the App on Android devices distributed via Google Play.

In short: the App does not collect, store or share any personal data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising networks and no servers of its own. All game data stays on your device, and the App works completely offline.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. In particular, the App does not collect:

  • names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers or any other contact details;
  • account credentials (the App has no registration or login);
  • precise or approximate location data;
  • photos, contacts, files or any other content stored on your device;
  • advertising identifiers, analytics data or usage statistics;
  • payment information (the App is free and contains no in-app purchases).

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To make the game work, the App saves the following data only on your device:

  • your game progress (unlocked levels and completed levels);
  • your best score and best accuracy for each level;
  • a technical flag indicating whether the in-app review suggestion has already been shown.

This data never leaves your device, is not linked to your identity and is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its storage in the system settings.

3. Bluetooth Multiplayer

The App offers an optional local multiplayer mode that connects up to 8 devices directly via Bluetooth. When you use this mode:

  • your device’s model name (for example, “Pixel 8”) is shown to other players in the same room so that participants can be told apart;
  • game data (selected level, assigned parts, readiness status, scores and accuracy) is exchanged directly between the connected devices;
  • all communication is peer-to-peer over Bluetooth; nothing is sent over the internet and nothing is stored after the session ends.

4. App Permissions

The App requests only the permissions required for the Bluetooth multiplayer mode:

  • Nearby devices / Bluetooth permissions (Android 12 and newer) — used to find paired devices, connect to them and make your device discoverable during a game session;
  • Bluetooth and Location (Android 11 and older) — on these Android versions the operating system requires the location permission for any Bluetooth device discovery. The App uses it solely for that technical purpose and never determines, stores or transmits your location.

If you do not use multiplayer, you can deny these permissions — the solo mode works without them.

5. Third-Party Links and Services

  • The App may show a promotional card for piano lessons by KODA STUDIO. Tapping it opens our website in your browser. The card is static, contains no tracking and is displayed without collecting any data.
  • The App may suggest leaving a review; tapping the button opens the App’s page in Google Play.
  • Google Play itself is operated by Google LLC and is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

External websites and services have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences, including children. Because the App collects no personal data from anyone, it also does not collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information in some other way, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Data Security

Since no personal data is collected or transmitted to us, the main copy of your game data exists only on your own device and is protected by your device’s standard security mechanisms.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if new features are added to the App. The current version is always available on this page; the effective date above shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be reflected in the App’s Google Play listing.
