Privacy Policy

For the mobile application Match 3 (Android package com.mhdev.match3)
Effective date: 29.07.2026  ·

Short version. This game does not collect, store or share any personal data. There are no ads, no analytics, no user accounts and no servers of ours. Everything the game saves — your level progress and your sound settings — stays on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

The full text below explains this in detail, including the one place where Google is involved: the standard Google Play rating dialog.

1. Who we are

Match 3 is developed and published by Timelapse studio ("we", "us", "our"), based in Armenia. The app is distributed through Google Play.

If you have any question about this policy, write to admin@mhdev.ru. We answer every message.

2. Information we do not collect

We want to be specific rather than vague. The app does not collect, request, transmit or store any of the following:

  • Name, email address, phone number, postal address or any other contact detail
  • Account credentials — the game has no registration, no login and no user profiles
  • Device identifiers, Android Advertising ID, IMEI or MAC address
  • Location data of any precision
  • Contacts, photos, media, files, camera or microphone data
  • Browsing history, installed apps or any behavioural or advertising profile
  • Payment information — the app contains no purchases of any kind
  • IP addresses or connection logs

The app contains no advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK and no social network integration.

3. Information stored on your device

To work as a game, the app saves a small amount of technical information locally:

  • Level progress — which levels you have completed and how many stars you earned
  • Sound settings — whether sound effects and music are switched on or off
  • A rating flag — a single yes/no value recording that the rating dialog has already been shown once, so that you are not asked again
  • Generated audio files — the game synthesises its own sound effects on first launch and keeps them in the app's cache folder so it does not have to recreate them every time

This information is written to the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other applications. None of it is personal data, none of it identifies you, and none of it ever leaves your device. We have no access to it.

4. Permissions

The app requests no Android permissions. It does not ask for access to storage, camera, microphone, location, contacts, phone state or anything else. If your device ever shows a permission request that appears to come from this game, do not grant it and please contact us.

5. Internet access

The game is designed to be played entirely offline. It contains no code that uploads data anywhere, and we operate no servers, no backend and no database connected to the app. Nothing is sent to us at any point, and there is therefore nothing for us to receive, read, store or lose.

6. Third-party services

Google Play

The app is distributed through the Google Play Store. When you download, install or update it, Google processes that interaction under its own terms. This happens between you and Google; we are not a party to it and we receive no personal data from it.

Google Play In-App Review

After you complete the first level, the app may ask Google Play to show its standard rating dialog. The dialog itself is displayed and handled entirely by the Google Play Store application on your device. We do not see whether you opened it, whether you left a rating, or what you wrote. The app passes no information about you to Google in order to trigger it. Any data processing that occurs within that dialog is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

Google Play Console reporting

As the publisher, we can see the aggregated statistics that Google provides to every developer — for example, total installs by country, Android version breakdowns, and anonymised stability reports if you have chosen to share diagnostics with developers in your Android settings. This information is produced and anonymised by Google, is aggregated across many users, and does not allow us to identify you or any individual device.

7. Children's privacy

The game contains no violent, sexual or otherwise age-restricted content and is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal data from anyone, it collects no personal data from children either, whatever their age, and it has no mechanism through which a child could submit personal information to us. If you are a parent or guardian and you nevertheless have a concern, please contact us at admin@mhdev.ru.

8. Data retention and deletion

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing on our side to retain or delete. You remain in full control of the information stored locally on your device:

  • Use Reset progress on the level map screen to clear your stars and start over
  • Clear the app's data or cache through Android Settings → Apps
  • Uninstall the app — this removes all locally stored progress, settings and cached audio permanently

9. Security

Locally saved data lives inside the private, sandboxed storage area that Android assigns to each application, and is not readable by other apps on a standard device. Because the app transmits nothing, there is no data in transit that could be intercepted.

10. Your rights

Data-protection laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar regulations elsewhere give you rights over personal data that a company holds about you — the right to access it, correct it, export it or have it erased.

We do not collect or process any personal data, so there is no data held by us to which these rights could apply, and no processing for which we would need a legal basis or your consent. We do not sell or share personal information, because we have none. You can still write to admin@mhdev.ru with any question and we will respond.

11. Data safety summary

This table mirrors the Data Safety declaration published on our Google Play listing:

12. Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects privacy — for example if a future version adds an online feature — we will update this page and change the effective date at the top before releasing that version. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes on Google Play. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
